As I was taking my English portion of the ACT Test I was able to use many strategies that I have been taught for the last few years. I believe the English portion of the test is one of the easiest parts due to the fact it is the beginning and you are able to stay focused. I know for a fact I was able to succeed through the first 30 questions; in the beginning of the test I am able to stay on task. My mind is on nothing but finishing in time. I at least want to get the beginning half of the test complete and correct; I know that I will finish it. I am good with using the strategies throughout the test and I believe the more strategies I know a better chance for me to get through the test with less hesitation.
I believe I have just as many weaknesses as I have strengths; I am not very good with staying focus for a long period of time. The English portion of the ACT is very boring but also very important and that is something I have to realize. Since I consider myself as a hard working student who is most likely to succeed and need to in order to be the person I should and want to be I know that I am going to approve with my weaknesses. I will approve by going to sleep on time to maintain my focus and studying much more with the things I struggle with the most.
